Love Local, Live Global
We all love our local shops. From French pastries at our local bakery to Columbian blends at our favourite coffee shop, we inherently act like global citizens when we visit these small independent local stores.
Local currencies across the UK are a growing form of payment. From the Brixton pound to the Bristol pound, many cities across the UK have their own local currency.
HSBC would become the first bank, using their main branch in respective towns to accept and allow withdrawal of local currencies to boost the economy of smaller independent chains.
